Frequently Asked Questions

The Arizona Region allows each club to host up to three evaluation clinics within a 10-day period before tryouts. FBK's evaluations (open houses) include skill and competition drills that give coaches a chance to observe athletes in a tryout-like setting. Age group coaches will be present and lead the open house to showcase their style. 

Coaches may provide performance feedback and answer questions after each session, but no guarantees about team placement will be made.

Athletes planning to try out for FBK must attend at least one evaluation clinic. 

Important info - No club director, coach or parent rep may offer private lessons during this time frame

The last day of the AIA regular season until an athlete's team is eliminated from the state tournament. No club director, coach or parent rep may contact a potential player or their parents during this time frame.

We do recommend, in the event your daughter is younger than her grade, she plays with her grade level instead of age. I.e. she is 13 but is in the 8th grade. We recommend her playing on a 14s team. 

If you have further questions, please reach out to one of our directors who can help assist in which age group/ team your daughter should tryout for. 

Ensure you have filled out all the tryout paperwork ahead of tryout day.  Your daughter MUST have a USAV membership prior to tryout day in order to participate and will be required when registering for Open Houses and Tryouts. 

Be prepared to arrive at least 30 minutes early to register, get your shoes on and warm-up. Tryouts themselves will be approximately 2 hours of game play, with additional time for registration and post tryout paperwork. At the end of tryouts, we will select and announce our team(s), and the next steps to both parents and players. 

Tournament schedules are live! All dates for in-state and out-of-state are listed under the respective age group

Season officially starts ten days prior to tryouts, October 29th and runs until end of June for all teams

3 jerseys (long sleeve, short sleeve and sleeveless), 3 pairs of spandex, long sleeve warmup, warmup pants and jacket, kneepads, backpack, socks, and practice t-shirts 

Total cost: $425 (included in final pricing on each team page, but paid separately through a 3rd party)

Upon ordering, all items will be delivered to FBK and distributed within 3-4 weeks of ordering

No club director, coach or parent rep may contact a potential player or their parents within 8 hours prior to OR during a high school match, practice, or tournament. Tournaments with multiple days count as a continuous event, and potential players and/or their parents must be left alone until the conclusion of the event.
